Whatever happened to my favorite teacher, Miss Wehopher(We-hof-er) not real sure even how to spell it. She was my English teacher and to be honest I am not even sure what grade I was in but I was lucky enough to be sat at the “head of the Class” room. I grew up in Alpena, Michigan but I moved away right after I graduated in 1972.
I have asked many people who I thought should know where my wonderful teacher is, but no one seems to know.
I want to tell her what I thought of her and what an impression she had left on me. I got my shoe fetish from her for one thing. I am not sure what made her so special but I would love to be able to let her know that I so enjoyed having her as my teacher.
Thank You Miss Wehopher, I hope you will somehow get this message. I hope you had a long teaching career. You were the Best.
Both of our names have changed, but I was the one with the “Greek Pen Pal.

You know what strikes me as I read this Cindy? We just never really know what kind of an impact we are having on people. Teachers in particular, but all of us. I remember my first mother’s day and the profound impact a woman I never knew had on me.

I’ll save that for it’s own post LOL.

I also had several teachers that impacted me in a big way, but none more than my first grade teacher Mrs. McPherson. It would be great to let her know, but I’d be surprised if she was alive today. I’m sure she was at least 60 then… about 40 years ago.
