I have a sickness. There is no other explanation for it. For the 3rd week in a row I bought a new bag. Did I need it? “No!” Did I want it? “Yes!” Do I have one at home almost like it? “Does that matter?

I love bags. It doesn’t matter if they are large or small. If they are plain or fancy, black or Hawaiian colors. I can’t explain it. I can’t say I like the cheapy plastic vinyl ones though, but just about any other kind if perfect. But to my defense I think the ones I buy have all been on sale. In fact the last 3 I bought were all 75% off. What a deal! No way could I have left them on the shelf for someone else to get that bargain.

My favorite place to buy bags is at the junk store. you know yourself that you never can wear out a purse they last forever. So I have found some real bargains at my favorite junk store. The price is right, 50 cents each. I found an American Angel bag that was probably $125.00 new. I also found an Eddie Bauer appointment book in a bag, it was the neatest thing. I was looking through all of the many pockets and zippers and found $5.56. Since I had only paid $.50 I thought it really special. I have found several Stone Mountain bags that are very small that I use as wallet type purses inside my real purse.

My favorite bag of all is a bright red Stone Mountain leather shoulder strap. I have had it a number of years. It looks today the exact way it looked the day I bought it at 75% off— the saying goes you get what you pay for. This especially holds true for bags, they just never wear out.

So I have a sickness. I can certainly think of a few more things much worse for me to be addicted to, can’t you?
