My Mom and Dad just got back from a 10 day trip to the Calgary Stampede. They had a great time and said everything was wonderful. But when my Dad called he said he just had to tell me how impressed he was with those tickets. Now he of course was referring to the airline tickets that I had made arrangements for them to purchase last January.
I booked their flight using Expedia. They were so happy with the arrangements that I made not only did I save them over $200.00 but I found better times for them to travel. Since January my Dad has asked repeatedly about those tickets. I think because he didn’t have an actual ticket that he was able to hold in his hands we was a bit worried. I kept telling him that the confirmation number was his ticket.
Due to a plan delay they had to rush to catch their connecting flight and when they arrived at the counter to check in there were greeted by the ticket people with…” You must be the Smith’s, we are waiting for you.” As soon as they boarded the plane took off. They are already planning another trip and once again I’ll be looking on Expedia to make the arrangements.
I am sure next time my Dad won’t be worried about just holding a confirmation number and not an actual ticket.

Hey Karen,
That is awesome they had a great time. Kelly went down for family day with the kids and they stayed ALL DAY! They wore her out and they were really good too. I slipped down on my lunch hour and then went and picked them up at 6 pm. They got there at 7:30 am.
They also took in some square dancing and infamous pancake breakfasts through out the city during the rest of the week.
